 Labeling

With our background in the food chain Foodfocus is expert in label compliance checks. On a yearly basis we check between 500 and 1000 labels (food, food supplements, enriched food, PARNUT food). In many cases we also take care of the translation.
Translation services, from and into: Dutch, English, German, Danish, Swedish, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, ..... Where necessary we call in local experts.

 Key word Prevention

Regarding foodsafety (HACCP) and preservation we apply the so called hurdle technology.
Hurdle technology means the combined application of raw material, additives and processing in order to prevent contamination and growth of pathogens and spoilage micro-organisms. The combined effects of e.g. pH, wateractivity, additives, packaging, heating and refrigeration will result in safe and high quality products. Investment in development and preventive measures results in economical profits as well.

Foodfocus assessed over 300 companies (food and food packaging materials) as third party auditor.
